Abstract
Korist mentalnog treninga sve je češće tema istraživanja različitih znanstvenih grana zbog svog učinka na sportski uspjeh. Pravilna primjena, pod vodstvom stručne osobe, može napraviti razliku u stanju pripremnosti na treninzima i natjecanjima te samim time napraviti razliku između prosječnog i vrhunskog rezultata. Istraživanja su pokazala da tehnike opuštanja uvelike pomažu u poboljšanju sportske izvedbe. Na temelju takvih nalaza možemo prepoznati važnost implementacije mentalnog treninga u svakodnevnom režimu. Razina pobuđenosti ima veliku ulogu u sportskoj izvedbi te se za regulaciju razine pobuđenosti koriste razne tehnike opuštanja.
Abstract (english)
The usefulness of mental training is an increasingly common subject of research in various scientific domains, due to its effect on sports success. Appropriate use, under the guidance of a professional, can make a difference in competence in training and competitions. Also, this can lead to the difference between average and peak results. Findings show that relaxation techniques are very useful in improving sports performance. Based on such findings, the importance of the implementation of mental training in the daily routine is recognized. The level of arousal is very significant for sports performance. Various relaxation techniques are used to regulate the level of arousal.
