Abstract
U ovome istraživanju nastojalo se utvrditi postoji li povezanost između testova funkcionalnosti pokreta i testa ravnoteže. Uzorak ispitanika činili su igrači malonogometne momčadi MNK Aurelia Futsal. Za testiranje funkcionalnosti pokreta, korištena su četiri FMS testa: duboki čučanj, iskorak na liniji, prednoženje iz ležanja na leđima te rotacijska stabilnost. Za test ravnoteže koristio se Y balance test. Rezultati statističke analize pokazali su kako ne postoji statistički značajna povezanost između rezultata FMS testova i sposobnosti održavanja ravnotežnog položaja kod igrača futsala. Premda oba aspekta predstavljaju važu komponentu za sportsku izvedbu, podaci prikazuju kako bolja izvedba na FMS testiranju ne mora nužno značiti kako će i rezultati u testu ravnoteže biti bolji. Jedina statistički značajna povezanost dobivena je između iskoraka na liniji i Y balance testa u posteromedijalnu stranu. Objašnjenje ove povezanosti leži u tome kako je ravnoteža jedna od najvažnijih komponenti za kvalitetnu izvedbu FMS testa iskorak na liniji. Također je u istraživanju utvrđeno kako se primjenom ovakvih testova može pomoći trenerima u otkrivanju potencijalnih slabosti u lokomotornom sustavu, ali i nedostataka u motoričkim sposobnostima igrača. Zaključno, naglašena je potreba za daljnjim istraživanjima kako bi se bolje razumio odnos između funkcionalnosti pokreta i ravnoteže kod igrača futsala.
Abstract (english)
This study aimed to determine whether there is a correlation between functional movement screen tests and a balance test. The sample consisted of players from the MNK Aurelia Futsal team. Four FMS tests were used to assess movement functionality: deep squat, inline lunge, active straight-leg raise and rotary stability. The Y balance test was used to assess balance. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there is no statistically significant correlation between FMS test results and the ability to maintain balance in futsal players. Although both aspects represent an important component for sports performance, the data indicates that better performance on FMS testing does not necessarily mean better results in the balance test. The only statistically significant correlation was found between the inline lunge and the Y balance test in the posteromedial direction. The explanation for this correlation lies in the fact that balance is one of the most important components for proper execution of the inline lunge FMS test. The study also found that using such tests can help coaches identify potential weaknesses in the locomotor system, as well as deficits in players' motor abilities. In conclusion, the need for further research was emphasized to better understand the relationship between movement functionality and balance in futsal players.
